MARIO BOJILOV is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He has worked for over 11 years for the Queensland Government-owned lottery in Queensland, now part of the Tatts Group. During this time he oversaw the design, implementation and successful continuous operation of company’s audit verification system.
Mario left Golden Casket in 2005 to found Meta Business Systems of which he is the current Managing Director. For a period of approximately 2 years, Mario has also been responsible for the continuous assurance function at Brisbane City Council.
Mario Bojilov holds a Master of Engineering Science Degree from the University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA.
Mario has appeared as a presenter and guest lecturer at various professional and academic bodies, such as Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), University of Queensland, University of Southern Queensland.
JOHN HEIM holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Sydney University. He has extensive IT and business experience having helped establish and manage businesses, computer departments and projects in over 40 years of work experience.
During his career John has managed the introduction of several on-line banking systems, ATM networks, financial and operational systems (for energy and water utilities), lottery systems, and educational systems. He also established service level agreements within some of the largest financial and utility companies in Queensland, reviewed a number of major projects in Australia and South-East Asia and helped in development and evaluation of tenders for various clients. John has experience working at a senior level in a number of overseas countries and this has led to a deep understanding of the importance of culture in a business.
John has been a national councillor with the Australian Computer Society, and Queensland state chairman and treasurer. He has been a guest ‘industry expert’ lecturer at University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, and Griffith University. John also conducted a number of project management-related courses for Software Engineering Australia a federal government funded body created to help raise the standard of management within the IT Industry.
